On April 30, 2016 the Jaguar Art of Performance Tour did stop over on the Airfield Michelstadt

Das aktuelle Jaguar Modellprogramm wurde präsentiert, insbesondere aber der neue Jaguar SUV F-Pace. Die meisten Modelle konnten auf eine kurzen Ausfahrt durch den Odenwald erprobt werden und auf einem Handling Kurs an die Grenzen der Fahrphysik (mehr oder weniger) gebracht werden.

 

All current Jaguar Models were presented, especialle the new Jaguar SUV F-Pace. Most Models could be tested during a short trip through the Odenwald and on a handling course to sense the limits of driving physics.

 

 

Resumee: Der F-Pace ist ein wirklich ernstzunehmender Konkurrent in der "Mid Size" SUV Klasse. Eigenständiges, Jaguar typisches Design. Verarbeitung top, Innenraum teilweise wenig wertiger Kunststoff. Die kleine Diesel Maschine ist zu träge, mit dem 3 Liter Diesel ist das Auto optimal motorisiert.  Multimedia "state of the art", Smartphone super integriert. Grundpreis niedrig, aber mit den notwendigen und ein paar luxuriösen Features kommt man locker auf  85 t€.

 

 

Summary: The F-Pace is a real competitor in it's Segment. Individual, Jag typical design. High Quality manufactured, unfortunately the plastic of the dashbord isn't nice. The base diesel engin is slow, the 3 Liter Diesel gives pleasure performacne. Multimedia is state of the arte, the Smartphone Integration excellent. The relatively low price of the entry level car should not be mistaken, with some must features and a bit of luxury you scratch easily the 85 t€ Limit.
